Job Description:
• Complete DevOps-related duties such as Software Monitoring, Deployment Pipeline creation and Software release deliveries for our modern technology stack which leverages Cloud infrastructure as well as Microservices in a cluster configuration.
• Research, complete Proof of Concepts and provide recommendations on new DevOps tools
• Review error logs, monitor non-production and production environments and identify software reliability opportunities.
• Integrating with the development team to provide efficient manual and automated testing throughout the entire development lifecycle.
• Automating functional and regression tests using well-structured maintainable code.
• Championing testing, effective test automation and good testing practices.
• Helping to improve processes and procedures.
• Raising descriptive, concise and useful bug reports.
• Producing clear and concise test reports and release notes when needed.
• Quickly acquiring new testing and technical skills and working with new technologies with little support.
• Working with other testers and development teams to ensure the spread of good practices and knowledge.
• Assisting with the setting up and configuration of test environments.
• Carrying out tool evaluations and selections.
• Taking part in talks and knowledge shares.
• Work and communicate effectively in a team environment
• Leverage your ideas and experience, but be open to the ideas of others
Roles & Responsibility:
• Experience with automated test scripting in any object-oriented programming language targeting web applications, and microservices.
• Experienced with testing Microservice, Databases and Web Applications.
• Experience in SQL
• Extensive experience working with Cloud technologies such as Azure/Oracle Cloud/AWS
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Kibana/NewRelic/Prometheus
